In this animation the ivy grows until it forms a word. I created it by following a tutorial by tutor4u on youtube, using blender.
I took the idea of a family crest, but took some artistic liberties to make it my own. Such as using only half a shield, where usually the whole shield is used. If you like it, it is for sale at my Shapeways Shop
This pendant design is my attempt at an abstract design. I stared with a circle as my base, and just let my imagination run wild. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think.
Here is yet another print for my shop. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think.
Jonathan Williamson is a 3D artist I become familiar with from his lessons on CG Cookie, which Mr. Williamson is a co-founder of. He is also a Blender Foundation Certified Trainer, meaning when it comes to modeling in Blender he knows a thing or two. Speaking of which, searching for Blender tutorials is what led me to find Jonathan Williamson in the first place. Anyway to see what he can do visit CGCookie to see his work and tutorials, or check him out on Twitter.
I made this animation by following the blender course on Udemy.com like the Chess Board and Pieces I posted. It took me a few hours to complete this short animation. A lot of it was spent tweaking, and adjusting to make it look just right. So watch the video below and tell me what you think.
Here is the final result of the blender class I mentioned last time. The board was the easiest part to model, the pawns were also rather simple. The one piece that took the most time was the knight, because of its’ organic nature.
