The Art of Norman Rockwell

Norman Rockwell started his artistic journey at the age 14, by enrolling in art school He had his first commission by 15, and many more commissions came after that beginning his long career. Of that career the 1930s and 1940s are considered to be Rockwell’s most successful period of his career.

Many of his paintings are covers for magazines, in fact 321 pieces of his cover art appeared as covers on The Saturday Evening Post.
